„Unconscious bias online workshop 2.0“ that can help you to identify those prejudices and biases. The workshop will be organized online in collaboration with ESCP Business School in two consecutive sessions on 09 and 18 April from 03:00 – 04:30pm CET.

IBSF-IBU Gender Equity Seminar, 4-6 May 2022, Munich

Together with IBSF, the IBU organized Gender Equity Seminar with the leading topic "Mind the gap! How to accelerate Gender Equity!".

Over the course of the three-day Forum, topics like "Gender Equity and cultural change within organizations", "The importance of male allies" and "Challenges of parenthood during an active athlete career" were discussed with speakers like Sandra Lengwiler (IOC), Prof. Kari Fasting (IOC Women and Sport Award Winner 2021), Fikri Anil Altintas (UN HeForShe Ambassador Germany), Michal Slesingr (former athlete), Weronika Nowakowska (former athlete) and many more.

Ahead of this year´s IBU Congress which will see the elections of the IBU Executive Board and IBU Technical Committee, it is more important than ever that women and men have equal opportunities to pursue leadership positions within IBU.

Women Lead Sports, September 2021, Online

IBU representatives took part in Women Lead Sports Master Programme led by Gabriela Mueller. The intensive four weeks of online/live virtual training was organised in cooperation with AIOWF. In general, it aims at getting more women in decision-making positions as leaders in sports in an accelerated, effective way. In addition, the program fosters a safe space for sharing the experience and growing together.

During September 12 strong influential women from different National Federations and IBU Development Director Dagmara Gerasimuk strengthened their communication and negotiation skills and enhanced their position for future personal development.

• Ensure better visibility of female role models across all areas of biathlon – Executive Boards, National Federations, Organising Committees and Teams.

• Promote women and sport leadership networks.

• Involve mentors and experts to advise women on career progression.
