Poland’s Jan Gunka had a personal best 13th in last month’s Annecy Le Grand Bornand Pursuit, qualifying him for his first-ever World Cup Mass Start. Now, as the calendar turned to 2026, the 24-year-old is still on a roll. After a one-penalty Sprint in Oberhof, he jumped from 31st to 15th in the Pursuit, recording two penalties, topping the field with the fastest range time and running the 4th fastest pursuit time.
