The results are in!

Over 5,000 of you participated in the Biathlon Fan Survey 2022 to give us your feedback on the new Official IBU App and the new biathlonworld.com Website. We're going to present you some of the most important findings - and also tell you what's next and how we are going to work with your input to create a better fan experience next winter.

Just like in last year's survey, we're seeing a pretty even split in male and female survey respondents, with a lot of younger fans taking part.

When it comes to content Behind The Scenes Footage and Interviews are your top picks and the content you want to see most on Social Media - Highlights and News are in higher demand when it comes to the website and app.

Your input on these topics is helping us shape our content production for the next biathlon season and we'll make sure you find the content you want to see in the right place and at the right time.

After launching in November 2022, the Official IBU App has received a warm welcome among fans and 2/3 of you say they have spent more time with biathlon with almost 50% of you using the Live Ticker, one of the core functions of the app, to follow the competitions at least once a week.

With 85-90%, an overwhelming majority of you have rated our new App and Web either "good" or "very good" - but we also saw your requests for improvements with additional personalisation and additional language support. The wheels have already been put into motion and more feature updates will be released this year.

Over a third of you already attended an IBU event and a big majority are planning to go in the future - improving your (digital) on-site experience is an important part of our work this summer, so your feedback on the most important on-site functions is incredibly valuable. We can't wait to see you next winter!
