These days, when we monitor everything from heart rate during training to recovery, one thing gets easily overlooked: periods. Where it used to be a taboo we are breaking the silence and bringing more awareness to it.

Whether it is your team doctor, physio or your coach, it is important to talk about period since from the cycle you can spot if something is wrong. What should you do if period goes missing or if you are having bad cramps? The Finnish team doctor Katja Mjosund, Swiss team coach Sandra Flunger and Italian team coach Andrea Zattoni tell all about periods.
