The call for applications for the “Biathlon for All” Project is now open. Biathlon 4 All (B4A) aims to inspire a passion for biathlon in children and young people. By providing access to safe and sustainable equipment and user-friendly toolkits, IBU together with its member federations ensure that newcomers to the sport have access to a fun and inclusive environment that is conducive to learning and growth.
Through this initiative, the IBU continues to assist National Federations in promoting and developing biathlon at the grassroots level. Selected federations will receive laser/optical rifle sets (including rifles, targets, supporters, and mats), digital promotional materials, and financial assistance to help implement strategies for recruiting and training children and youth.
The project is conceived as a long-term initiative, encouraging National Federations to sustain their activities over several years while sharing experiences and best practices within the biathlon community.

In collaboration with the Liatoppen Biathlon Festival, the IBU and the Norwegian Biathlon Association will organise an International Development Camp for biathletes born in 2010 and 2011.
The camp will take place from 15 to 20 April 2026 in Geilo and at the Liatoppen venue in Ål, Norway. It aims to offer young athletes from developing biathlon nations an opportunity to train together, exchange experiences, and enhance their skills within an inspiring international environment.
This project is supported through IBU Development funding, which contributes to event organisational costs, as well as the training and educational programme. The initiative is dedicated to National Federations from categories B and C only.
