For those interested in advancing their coaching career, the application deadline for the Second and Third Level Course is March 31, 2024. Applications must be submitted by your National Federation via IBU Scope. This is an opportunity to further develop your coaching skills within the biathlon community.

In more exciting news, we are proud to announce the selection of coaches for the upcoming IBU Basic and First Level Course. This year's application process was again competitive, and we are delighted with the diversity and talent of our selected coaches.
For the IBU Basic Course 2024, we received 35 applications and have selected 20 coaches from 20 different National Federations, including 13 female and 7 male coaches. This course is set to take place from April 20-25, 2024, in Rif/Salzburg, Austria. We look forward to an enriching week of learning and development.
For the IBU First Level Course 24/25, 36 applications were submitted, resulting in the selection of 20 coaches from 20 different National Federations. The diverse group comprises 6 female and 14 male coaches. The course will take place over three weeks across Europe, starting in Hochfilzen, Austria (May 2-8, 2024), moving to Pokljuka, Slovenia (October 4-10, 2024), and concluding in Jakuszyce, Poland, in March 2025.
These programs are part of the IBU Academy´s commitment to developing the skills and careers of biathlon coaches worldwide, contributing to the growth and excellence of the sport. Congratulations to all selected coaches! We look forward to embarking on this journey with you.
