The IBU has released the Regional Event Calendar for the summer season 2026/2027. IBU has decided to support 17 Summer Regional Events across seven regions during the 2026/2027 season.

As part of its long-term development strategy, the IBU continues to support National Federations to implement good quality international competitions for young athletes based on international cooperation. This initiative benefits the entire biathlon community—athletes, organizers, coaches, and National Federations alike—by creating valuable opportunities for competition, learning, and growth.

With Regional Events playing an increasingly important role as qualification competitions, all participating athletes in the 2026/2027 season must be registered in the IBU Membercenter, and event results will be available through the IBU Datacenter.

The 2026/2027 IBU Regional Summer Events Calendar features a wide range of competitions for youth and junior athletes, providing an essential platform for the next generation of biathletes to develop their skills and gain international experience. Beyond competition, these events serve as a cornerstone for the sustainable growth of biathlon, fostering collaboration between National Federations, encouraging regional development, and inspiring young athletes in the sport.
