Summer Biathlon Season Concludes with Final Regional Event in France

The summer biathlon season officially came to an end with the final Regional Event in La Féclaz, France, which also hosted the French National Championships. This event marked the conclusion of an exciting and well-organized series of summer competitions across multiple regions.

The closing event in La Féclaz featured Sprint, Individual and Pursuit competitions for youth, junior and senior categories alongside international participation. A total of 400 athletes competed, including more than 50 athletes from abroad representing Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Finland, Great Britain, Luxemburg and Norway.

The local club and volunteers delivered two days of high-quality competitions in optimal conditions, creating a great atmosphere for both athletes and the large crowd in attendance.


Summer Regional Events — Season Recap

The 2025 summer biathlon season concluded with 14 successful Regional Events, bringing together over 1,400 youth and junior athletes from 27 nations. The series demonstrated strong international engagement and delivered competitive racing at all levels.

The growth in participation and the smooth organization of these events underline a very positive trend for the sport and set an encouraging tone for the upcoming winter biathlon season.
