IBU Team Physician Webinar

The IBU Development is organising IBU Team Physician Webinar on 05-05 September 2021. The webinar will cover topics ranging from COVID-19 related medical preparation of athletes to burnout and motivation of the athletes and an overview of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games medical services.

On day one, the expert speakers will cover important topics related to COVID-19, including the federation's COVID-19 strategy and report, strategies for team illness prevention, medical preparation for athletes in the age of COVID-19, and return to play after COVID-19. There will also be a panel discussion at the end of the day on the mental health management of elite athletes during COVID-19.

Day two of the seminar will cover the medical preparation of athletes from different countries, burnout and motivation of athletes, treatment of psychological issues, and an overview of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games medical services. The day will finish with a panel discussion on elite athletes' health problems from different perspectives.
