Linking performance to sustainability, the initiative awarded one tree for every award ceremony appearance across all IBU competition series, from the World Cup to IBU Junior Cup and the Para Biathlon World Cup. The trees will be planted in spring 2026 in the Untersberg region near the IBU’s headquarters in Anif, AUT.

France Tops the Final Ranking

A total of 25 nations contributed to the campaign, highlighting the global reach of biathlon. France leads the final standings with 322 trees, ahead of Norway (200) and Germany (153). Sweden and Italy complete the Top 5.

Among the athletes, the most trees were earned by the French overall Total Score winners Eric Perrot and Lou Jeanmonnot with 20 and 17 trees, respectively, and by Sturla Holm Lagreid also with 17 trees.
