The Biathlon Integrity Unit (BIU) has received confirmation from the Italian NADO of an anti-doping rule violation (ADRV) of Italian biathlete Rebecca Passler. Nado Italia has provisionally suspended the athlete.

The BIU coordinates closely with Nado Italia and all Nados of IBU’s National Federations to ensure the implementation of robust anti-doping programmes at a national level. The ADRV was recorded in a test carried out by Nado Italia who are therefore responsible for managing the case.
