Para Biathlon Calendar and Results

The IBU is proud to announce the official calendar for the 2026/2027 Para Biathlon season. Building on the momentum of the Paralympic Winter Games, the upcoming season's highlight will be the IBU Para Biathlon World Championships in Pokljuka, SLO.

The season will kick off in Vuokatti, FIN from 7-12 December 2026, where competitions for all classes will include the sprint, sprint pursuit, and individual formats. The World Cup circuit then moves to Martell, ITA from 18-24 January 2027, with sprint, sprint pursuit and middle distance competitions on the schedule. The third World Cup stop in Torsby, SWE from 8–14 March 2027 will also serve as the World Cup Finals.

Para Biathlon World Championships return to Pokljuka

This season will culminate in the IBU Para Biathlon World Championships where the medal events will include the Individual, Sprint, Sprint Pursuit and Team Sprint competitions in the venue that also hosted the Championships in 2025 and will feature the new New Year's event as part of the LaVita IBU World Cup Biathlon on 2-3 January 2027.
