Great Mentors for IBU Coach Education

For the upcoming Pilot Second Level Course within the IBU Coach Education Program, the IBU could win 5 top-level coaches to be mentors for the course participants: Siegfried Mazet, Wolfgang Pichler, Jonne Kähkönen, Matthias Ahrens, and Roger Grubben!

The Pilot Second Level Course will start with the first education week from 23-27 September 2023 in Oberhof (GER), week 2 and 3 will be held in Lillehammer (NOR, 7-11 April 2024) and Antholz (ITA, 29 June - 3 July 2024). Besides the tasks on the e-learning platform, the course participants have to accomplish several meetings with their mentors between the course weeks.

The mentors will support the participants in different fields like leadership, communication, training, development of athletes, and many more.

"We are glad that we have such well-know and experienced coaches to be our mentors. I think the participants of this pilot course can be happy to be supported by these elite experts", said Gerold Sattlecker, Head of the IBU Academy.

The course participants will be matched with their mentors according to their needs and experience. Each of the mentors will be responsible for 4 course participants.
