The Ukrainian national men’s team has begun its preparation for the Olympic season with a refreshed lineup and new training focuses. France’s Lou Jeanmonnot, after not qualifying for the shooting duel final out-sprinted Italy’s Lisa Vittozzi, winning the women’s super sprint at Blink with a single penalty in 15:28.4. Eric Perrot made it a French double, taking the men’s title in a photo-finish 13:42.9 over Norway’s Sturla Holm Laegreid.
Siegfried Mazet will be stepping down as Head Coach of the Norwegian Biathlon Men's Team after the Olympic Season 2025-2026. This was announced by the Norwegian Biathlon Federation in a press release earlier this afternoon. Mazet had taken on the role in 2016, guiding the team to over 150 World Cup victories in his decade-long tenure.
