World Cup Season Highlights - Women

Many winners and many fascinating battles told the story of the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2021/2022 on the Women's side - but one woman reigned supreme: Marte Olsbu Roeiseland delivered a stunning season to take the Total Score victory. She didn't have the best Season Opening but by the time we left Oestersund, it became increasingly clear that Marte Olsbu Roeiseland would be the ringleader on the Women's side, in a startingly similar fashion to Quentin Fillon Maillet on the men's side. But the season wasn't short of other impressive women and results, with Elvira Oeberg having a breakthrough winter, Denise Herrmann claiming Individual Gold and the ever-enigmatic Justine Braisaz-Bouchet turning into a Mass Start expert.
