Vittozzi completes diamond career

Lisa Vittozzi, open about her goal of winning an individual gold in Antholz, delivered in the Pursuit, clearing all 20 targets and turning her career into a diamond one: she is now an Olympic champion, World Champion and World Cup Total Score winner.

After winning the Total Score title in 2023/2024—coming back from a profound confidence crisis in the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 seasons—Lisa Vittozzi kept adding trophies to her collection of outstanding achievements. Her win in the Olympic Pursuit in Antholz-Anterselva catapulted her into the very exclusive group of women champions who have won at least one individual gold medal at the Olympic Winter Games, IBU World Championships, and the IBU World Cup Total Score. Just a few days before Vittozzi, Julia Simon reached the same milestone with a gold medal in the Individual.
