Virtual Sustainable Snow Summit on 25 April - Mid-term findings of the EU-funded SIEPPUR Project

Join leading Nordic skiing snow experts as they discuss sustainable snow management strategies and good practice from Nordic venues across Europe.

Organised by the SIEPPUR project partners and co-funded by the European Commission, the Sustainable Snow Summit will bring together leading Nordic snow sports experts as they discuss sustainable snow management strategies and good practice from venues across Europe – from production, storage, transport, grooming to handling.

Midway through the SIEPPUR research project, the virtual Summit will provide an opportunity for all those involved in the snow sport industry to learn and exchange on the topic of sustainable snow management.

Topics will include the mid-term findings of the SIEPPUR project on the current state of snow management from production, storage, transport, grooming to handling in Europe, various examples of good practice, a case study of the NMNM 2024 Biathlon World Championships from the snow management perspective, the latest on sustainable grooming, and a panel discussion on the future strategies for snow management at Nordic venues.
