Summer Biathlon Central European Cup - Czarny Bór, POL

From the 22nd to the 24th of September the Summer Biathlon Central European Cup was held in Czarny Bór. Almost 150 biathletes from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine took part in a two-day competition both on roller skis (junior & youth athletes) as well as in cross biathlon (youngsters).

The Czech team was the most successful - they won 8 out of 12 races in all categories. Three athletes collected two victories: juniors Kamila Oralkova and Matvej Cervenka - both from Nove Mesto na Morave and youngster Justyna Sinkiewicz from Czarny Bór. It is worth mentioning that in contrast to World Cup races, the roller ski pursuit competition was conducted with a five-second start interval. Thanks to this, races were even more intense.
