Jessica Jislova, Simon Kaiser and Lisa Vittozzi elected to IBU Athletes' Committee

Over 300 athletes were asked to cast their vote online during the BMW IBU World Cup at Holmenkollen, Norway, to elect three biathletes to serve on the IBU Athletes’ Committee (AC). The following three athletes were elected to serve for a four-year term:

Jessica Jislova (CZE)

Simon Kaiser (GER)

Lisa Vittozzi (ITA)

A total of five candidates (three women and two men) stood for election. The voting was open to all athletes who have competed in the BMW IBU World Cup in at least one of the first two trimesters during the 2025/2026 season, or at the Olympic Games Milano-Cortina 2026. Of the three new members elected, one must be female, one must be male to meet the gender equality requirements, and the third one can be male or female.

The IBU Athletes’ Committee has five members in total as the three newly elected members join Simon Eder (AUT) and Lena Häcki-Groß (SUI), whose term continues until 2028 as they were elected for four years in 2024.

The five members of the Athletes' Committee will select the Chair of the Committee and their representative who will serve as a full voting member of the IBU Executive Board.
