The International Biathlon Union has announced the shortlisted entries for the 2025-2026 IBU Awards for Excellence in the categories Sustainability, Gender Equality, Social Media, and Biathlon 4 All. The Biathlon 4 All category was introduced in 2026 to recognise National Federations for their outstanding and impactful initiatives, which aim at increasing accessibility, inclusion, and grassroots participation and recruitment in biathlon and para biathlon.
For each category, the jury has shortlisted three entries with the winner being crowned at the Awards Night / Congress Dinner of the 17th Ordinary IBU Congress in Berchtesgaden (GER) on 19 September 2026.
