This makes the region shine out amongst other biathlon venues. The Canmore Nordic Centre is the place for the Olympians to train as it was developed exactly for this purpose already back in 1988. Having hosted several BMW IBU World Cups, Canmore has proved to be an elite biathlon centre for hosting high-level competitions.
