The IBU-IOC Summer Development Camp 2024, held from 12 – 19 August in Otepaa, Estonia, was a big success. With perfect weather, the camp brought together 48 athletes from 13 nations for a week of intensive biathlon training and education.
Guided by top coaches Matthias Arens, Martina Seidl, Kristiina Kresmer, and Lukas Jakeliunas, the camp offered a complete schedule that included biathlon preparation before racing, endurance, coordination, and lectures on anti-doping and safety.

The week ended on a fun note, with an adventurous afternoon at the Otepaa Adventure Park, where athletes and coaches enjoyed zip-lining and tree climbing. Overall, the camp provided an excellent blend of training, education, and fun, leaving everyone energised and ready for the season ahead.
