NF SLO and NF ESP join together for partnership programme

Last week youth and junior athletes of NF Slovenia and NF Spain came together for a joint training camp in Pokljuka, Slovenia, as part of a partnership project dedicated to supporting the Spanish national development program to prepare for future participation in major events.

Project coordinators Nusa Pogacar (NF SLO), biathlon coach and coordinator for a local biathlon school, and Carlos Lannes (NF ESP), biathlon coach and former cross-country skier and biathlete, met during the first week of their IBU Coach Education (1st Level) in Ruhpolding (read here). There they decided to join forces and start a joint project to further develop their national federations by sharing knowledge, facilities, and resources and establishing a long-lasting relationship. Their drive and dedication set an excellent example for all members of the biathlon family who want to take action and further improve the sport they love.

Each year the IBU supports such partnership projects between already developed NFs and progressing ones with up to 20.000 €. For more information, use the following link.
