The IBU Regional Events series brought exciting competitions to Europe and North America. In Nove Mesto Na Morave, Czech Republic, more than 280 athletes from four countries joined the Central European Cup. In Goms, Switzerland, over 120 athletes from six countries raced in the Alpen Cup. On December 29 and 30, 2023, Nove Mesto Na Morave in the Czech Republic was full of excitement. More than 280 athletes from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland came for the Central European Cup. It was part of the IBU Regional Events series. On January 6 and 7, 2024, Goms in Switzerland was very lively. It was the Alpen Cup, and more than 120 athletes from Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Great Britain, and Canada were there. Canmore in Alberta, Canada, suddenly became the host for the first Regional Event of North America for this season from January 4 to 7, 2024. The event was first planned for Quebec but moved to Alberta just a few days before. More than 80 athletes from Canada and Great Britain joined. The change of place was a surprise, but the event still went well. The athletes competed happily in the lovely mountains of Canada.Full Results of the Event in Canmore here
