The Symposium was held under the theme ‘United toward a world of doping-free sport’ and brought together committed stakeholders from the anti-doping community including International Federations, National and Regional Anti-Doping Organisations, Major Event Organisations, Athletes, Governments, WADA-accredited laboratories, Athlete Passport Management Units, service providers, researchers, and the media.

Around 850 participants attended in person with 150 joining virtually as they explored how to advance anti-doping for the benefit of athletes worldwide. The IBU and BIU representatives attended presentations as well as breakout sessions to discuss some of the developing innovations in anti-doping.
