Learning from Laura Dahlmeier

Double Olympic champion, four-time world champion, and Total Score winner Laura Dahlmeier shared her experience and skiing technique knowledge with 69 athletes and 21 coaches from 20 NFs at the 2nd IBU IOC Camp in Martell - Val Martello, South Tirol, Italy.

Dahlmeier joined five IBU coaches - Mathias Arens (Canada), Armin Kasslatter (Italy), Walter Hoerl (Austria), Tryn Rostad (Norway), Anna Sprung (Austria) - as an Athlete Roled Model. She also participated in several training sessions and evening lectures with Matthias Arens.

"This was a unique opportunity for many athletes from the next generation to learn from the IBU coaches and one of the most successful biathletes ever. IBU IOC Camps are an excellent contribution to the development of biathlon across many smaller nations," said IBU Development Director Dagmara Gerasimuk.

Martell - Val Martello will also host back-to back IBU Junior Cups in December; the first Junior Cup of the season will take place on 10-12 December and the second one on 15-December.
