Biathlon 4 All at Marcialonga Ski Classics: Promoting Our Sport Beyond Traditional Arenas

The Development Department team had the pleasure of representing Biathlon 4 All at the well-known Marcialonga Ski Classics in Italy. Over two days, we explored new ways to promote biathlon alongside cross-country skiing, engaging with a diverse audience and sparking interest in our sport.

On the first day in Cavalese, we introduced biathlon to adults, who were particularly fascinated by the shooting experience. The following day in Lago, we focused on kids who eagerly participated in biathlon activities, showcasing their enthusiasm and potential.

We consider this a great success, with around 1,000 participants over both days. The strong interest in biathlon shooting and the high level of engagement reaffirm the value of bringing biathlon to cross-country skiing events. Such initiatives help us expand the reach of our sport, attract new enthusiasts, and create opportunities for people of all ages to experience biathlon shooting firsthand.

We look forward to exploring further ways to promote biathlon in similar events across different regions.

Last week, we launched the Biathlon 4 All website to equip users with best practices, with details on easy-to-use shooting equipment designed specifically for young athletes, comprehensive activity toolkits offering training resources and guidelines to help young athletes learn and grow within the sport, information on upcoming events and news, ideas and guidance for organising engaging training sessions or events, and ideas to encourage community engagement.
