BIATHLON CLIMATE CHALLENGE 2022

The IBU and its Premium Partner Viessmann co-financed the second edition of the Biathlon Climate Challenge which ran in August 2022.

The team leaders for the Biathlon Climate Challenge powered by Viessmann were:

In addition, the Biathlon Climate Challenge was supported by many-time World and Olympic Champion Laura Dahlmeier (GER), who serves as an ambassador and is also a member of the IBU’s Sustainability Expert Reference Group.

BIATHLON CLIMATE CHALLENGE 2021

In 2021, the IBU staged the first-ever Biathlon Climate Challenge in cooperating with Active-Giving. 10 Biathlon stars joined as Team leaders, encouraging fans around the globe to get physically active, collecting 100,000 trees in the month of May. These trees will be planted with Eden Reforestation in Madagascar.
