Lisa Hauser has announced her retirement ahead of the final stage in Holmenkollen - the Austrian is a World Champion, multiple World Cup winner and has competed in 25 Single Mixed Relays together with teammate Simon Eder.

Lisa Theresa Hauser had her first full World Cup winter in 2013/2014. A relatively late bloomer, she won at least once in all four individual disciplines during her 13 World Cup seasons. Her best seasons were 2020/2021 and 2021/2022, when her shooting accuracy was close to 90% or higher on most days, and her ski speed was consistently high enough to challenge the very best. Lisa Theresa was crowned Mass Start World Champion and finished second in the Pursuit at the 2021 Pokljuka World Championships. In 2021/2022, she placed third in the overall IBU World Cup standings. She retires as Austria’s best-ever female biathlete.
