The IBU and the organising committee Oberhof 2023 have decided to go ahead with the competition programme on Saturday as scheduled after liaising with the forest authorities and weather experts.

The competition jury will hold its regular meeting at 10:45 am to decide whether the competitions can go ahead from a sports technical perspective. The organisers will keep liaising with weather experts and forest authorities throughout the morning with athlete and spectator safety being part of decision-making.
