The IBU Academy is pleased to announce that applications for the 2026/27 Coach Education Courses are now open. We kindly invite all National Federations to submit the applications for their candidates (max. 2 per NF, per course) via IBU Scope within the respective deadlines.

Also, the applications for the Research Grant Programme 2026/27 are open for Universities to apply from 1 December 2025. The programme supports innovative research that strengthens biathlon performance, coaching, and athlete well-being. Focus areas are physiology, biomechanics, psychology, athletes' well-being, high-performance analyses, long-term athlete development, para biathlon, recovery, nutrition, equipment, and other topics aligned with the IBU´s target 2030 strategy.
