Annecy - Le Grand Bornand provided the perfect stage for a thrilling end-of-year showdown. With tens of thousands of fans lining the course, the biathletes rose to the occasion, delivering standout performances under intense pressure. Which one of these four biathletes do you want to crown the last Athlete of the Week of 2025?

Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen (NOR) took his first win since 2023, as he won the men's sprint on Friday. To continue to podium streak, he sprinted to third place on Sunday's mass start.

Lou Jeanmonnot (FRA) was no stranger to the flower ceremonies in France as she took part in all of them. Jeanmonnot came in second in the sprint but made the French crowd go crazy as she won the pursuit. In Sunday's mass start, she also took second place.

Maren Kirkeeide (NOR) ended her year with a high as she took her first World Cup victory in women's mass start on Sunday. After entering the final shooting in 6th place, she shot clean and sprinted the final loop against Jeanmonnot and Braisaz-Bouchet, finishing first.

Emilien Jacquelin (FRA) took two home podiums as he came in third in the sprint and climbed one position up on Saturday's pursuit, coming in second. What a way to celebrate with the French crowd!
