IBU CUP: THE GATEWAY STAGE

The IBU Cup is the second tier of senior biathlon, sitting just one step below the World Cup. It's where rising athletes prove they're ready for the elite level and where seasoned racers fine-tune their form. Success in the IBU Cup often earns athletes a ticket to the World Cup—and for fans, it's an opportunity to witness the stars of tomorrow in the making. The series spans nine weeks, with results contributing to the Total Score, Cup Score, and Nations Score standings. The Open European Championships serve as the highlight of the IBU Cup season, adding an extra layer of prestige to the competition.

For fans, it's a thrilling preview of the athletes who could dominate the sport in just a few years. IBU SUMMER BIATHLON: RACING WITHOUT SNOW

When the skis go into storage, the rifles stay out. Summer Biathlon swaps snow for roller skis, bringing the action to warmer months and fresh settings. It's fast, intense, and keeps athletes razor-sharp while offering fans a thrilling new way to experience biathlon.

Nowhere is this more exciting than at The Loop One—a groundbreaking season-opening event set in the historic Olympiapark in Munich.

PARA BIATHLON: DEFYING LIMITS

Biathlon's spirit of precision, endurance, and resilience shines just as brightly in Para Biathlon. Athletes with physical or visual impairments compete in adapted formats that demand the same skill, determination, and accuracy as the World Cup. The season features three weeks of IBU Para Biathlon World Cup competitions, culminating in the IBU Para Biathlon World Championships.
