France’s Lou Jeanmonnot took the lead in this afternoon’s Antholz Women’s 7.5 km Sprint with a clean prone stage, followed it with another zero in standing and flew around the new Antholz layout for a 21:09.5 victory. Jeanmonnot, extremely disappointed when she missed two shots in the last standing, falling to ninth place in Sunday’s Ruhpolding Mass Start rebounded today, taking her fifth victory of the season.
January 19, 2025, will be a date that Jeanne Richard will remember for a long time: her first World Cup podium, third place in the Ruhpolding Women’s Mass Start, achieved by brilliant 20-for-20 shooting, while gamely challenging established stars Franziska Preuss and Dorothea Wierer on the tracks.
