Lotte Lie, close to the front all evening at Dresden City Biathlon, cleaned the last standing, left second, battled back to the front, and in a wild finish out-sprinted Karoline Offigstad Knotten for the two-penalty 31:56.2 photo-finish victory. An hour later, Eric Perrot, with three penalties, trailing Quentin Fillon Maillet by 20 meters into the home stretch, sprinted past the stunned Fillon Maillet on the line for the 33:27.6 victory.

City Biathlon returns to Dresden this Sunday for its 2025 edition with another international field including 2024 men’s champion Jakov Fak battling French stars Eric Perrot and Quentin Fillon Maillet among others. The women’s field sports IBU World Cup Total Score runner-up Lou Jeanmonnot, her teammate IBU Under 23 Champion Oceane Michelon and 2024 third place finisher Karoline Offigstad Knotten. There is also a real treat for fans as Johannes Thingnes and Tarjei Boe, the recently retired Norwegian superstars, will compete in the Legends Race.
