Three candidates are standing for election as IBU Para Biathlon Athletes' Representatives with the election to be held during the IBU Para Biathlon World Cup Finals in Torsby/SWE from 8 -12 March.

The election will take place through an online voting system and all athletes, who have competed in the IBU Para Biathlon World Cup or at the IBU Para Biathlon World Championships 2025 in Pokljuka will have the right to vote.
The role of the Para Biathlon Athletes’ Representatives is to represent active Para Biathlon Athletes so as to provide input into the governance of Para Biathlon, including providing advice to the IBU Executive Board from the Para-Athletes’ perspective.
This group was introduced when Para Biathlon was formally added into the IBU's governance at the IBU Congress 2024. The representatives' term is four years, they should represent both sexes and the three competition categories.
