Some of the world’s best biathletes will be in action at the festival and fans will also be able to enjoy youth and para biathlon competitions. However, the festival is about more than biathlon. With live concerts, energetic workout sessions and interactive activities, this celebration promises unforgettable experiences for music lovers, fitness enthusiasts, and families alike.
On Saturday 18 October, three live concerts will entertain fans through the afternoon and into the night. Austrian singer-songwriters Freude and Felicia Lu will open with 45 minute sets from 15:15-16:00 and 16:45-17:30 respectively, before rising artist, writer and producer, and coach on The Voice of Germany, Kamrad, headlines from 18:00-19:15.
Earlier in the day, the LOOP ONE Beat81 collaboration workout will transform fitness into festival fun, creating an energetic group session where great music meets heart-pumping exercise.
Sunday morning will bring a different kind of harmony with POP UP YOGA sessions in the open air of Olympic Park. These yoga sessions will cater for people of all levels and offer festival-goers a chance to find their centre while surrounded by the park's natural beauty and inspiring sporting architecture.
Throughout both weekend days, visitors have exclusive opportunities to meet IBU biathlon icons Magdalena Neuner, Benedikt Doll, and Arnd Peiffer at the Biathlon 4 All stations and the Home of Biathlon. The legends may even watch on as children and adults can test their own precision skills with laser rifles at the three Biathlon 4 All stations. If that’s not enough, the DSV obstacle course will give visitors the opportunity to challenge themselves with skill and speed while ensuring fun exercise for participants of all fitness levels. For those seeking a creative twist on traditional accuracy games, biathlon darts offers an innovative fusion of the two sports to engage young and old.
Meanwhile the Home of Biathlon isn’t just a chance to meet biathlon legends but also to take photos with the Loop One Festival trophy, learn about the legacy and history of biathlon, and better understand the sport.
For a weekend visitors will not want to forget, fans can design their own personalised merchandise at the Merch Station creating their own unique memento from the day. Or they can head over to the 360° photo booth and capture the perfect picture from the roof of the Small Olympic Hall with the Olympic rings and Olympic tower shining in the background.
Children will be able to access all of this with the free LOOP ONE Pass which invites them to explore and experience the incredible festival grounds and the unforgettable activities.
With all this going on plus incredible biathlon competitions, Loop One Festival is not to be missed. Whether you're drawn by the biathlon, vibrant music concerts, peaceful yoga sessions, the thrill of meeting sporting legends, or the joy of family-friendly activities, this inaugural festival promises to be an experience you won’t forget.
