Some Canadian fans also made it

With two official training sessions before the competitions, the athletes tested the tracks and the shooting range.  Swiss athlete Julian Schumacher wore a GoPro to share some impressions.

Then four competitions followed; with four different winners this week. In the individual competitions Italy's Irene Lardschneider secured a home field victory while Russia's Vasilii Tomshin took his first ever Gold medal in the Junior Cup.

On the second and last competition day, Belarusian Dzmitry Lazouski won the men's sprint and Germany's Marina Sauter celebrated after she won the women's sprint with three other teammates who finished in the top six.

Now it is time for the juniors to relax, train, and celebrate Christmas with their nearest and dearest, before heading out on battle for the next stage of the Junior Cup.
