Germany and France Dominate IBU Junior Cup 3

With the Christmas and New Year's celebrations far behind, the juniors once again gathered for the first competition in 2018. Initially the event was scheduled for Duszniki-Zdroj (Poland) but due to the warm weather the third stage was moved to Nove Mesto Na Moravě.

Over the weekend new friendships were created, and high results achieved.

The Turkish team arrived in Nove Mesto in style: with brand new clothing & race suits, and with the upcoming competitions in mind.

....while others were thinking about something totally else.

With some time before the competitions, the athletes had the chance to find the perfect pair of skis and explore the local tracks.

With four sprint competitions held in Nove Mesto there were seven French athletes on the podium and four Germans. Here is how it all went down:

Emilien Claude won the men's sprint, the very same day ahead of his teammate Martin Bottonet Perrillat. Slovenia's Alex Cisar took the bronze medal.
