Supersprint Qualification Competition
The Super Sprint is a competition that will be mainly organized at “show events”. The qualification competitions can be organized on tracks by variable distances between 2.4 and 3.6 km according to the local conditions.

The start interval between the athletes is 15 seconds and it is held as an individual start. At qualification competitions, three loops between 800 and 1200 meters each shall be used. There are two shooting bouts in round 1 and round 2 in the prone and standing positions between 800 and 2400 meters. Each athlete has 5 rounds per shooting bout and if the five targets are not hit, 3 reserve rounds may be used. If not all of the targets have been hit after all 8 rounds are fired, those particular athletes will automatically be disqualified.
The total climb in a qualification competition should be between 45 and 75 meters. The draw is done in 4 groups. Before the start of each qualification competition, athletes must be given 20 minutes’ zeroing time, which has to be finished not later than 5 minutes before the start.
