Johannes Thingnes Boe, with just three full World Cup seasons (94 World Cup starts) on his resume finished second in last year’s World Cup Total Score. After winning three IBU YJWCH titles, he quickly jumped to Norway’s World Cup squad in 2013. He made a huge splash that first December by winning the sprint and pursuit at Annecy-le Grand Bornand. Since then, he has collected nine more individual victories and 26 total podiums including his first individual World Championship title in the mass start last March in Oslo. Johannes is well-known for two things: amazingly fast shooting and his sense of humor.
